You can't even request an appointment online. They have no email contact. When you click "contact" on the website, you get sent back to a phone number. When you call the number, you get an answering service, Typical. All routes lead to a dead end, to try to discourage you and get you to just go away. They succeeded. I will go away--far away, and never deal with this bunch again.
Dr. West is wonderful. I have never had any issues with this practice. Most offices you wait at least a hour but that is never the case there. Her nurse is very timely with phone calls as well. I would definitely recommend her!
This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. And after dealing with this practice, I have come to the opinion they care nothing about the patients at all, and are only interested in turnover and numbers. Always writing prescriptions that they are paid proceeds on as well. What happened to having a Dr. that you can sit down with and talk to that acts like they are interested? The last time I checked, the patient is the most important thing, not the Dr and Practice's schedule and numbers.
One star is more than I'd like to give. I went in and filled out paper work on June 20, 2016 to have my medical records transferred. I called today, July 13, 2016 to check on the process. I was informed they cannot find my paperwork, and asked if I would come fill another one out. Let's be clear, this paperwork had my social secerity number on it- and they cannot find it? Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
This was the worst experience I have ever had in a health care facility regarding patient service. I came in and saw Dr. Shealy who I have seen a handful of times in the past. I have a few different issues in with my health and had about 3-4 questions total. I live 45-50 minutes away and was trying to stay loyal to a Dr. that I had faith in.
I recommend that if you do attend this practice, make sure you are fully satisfied with the concerns you have regarding your personal health. And don't let any Dr anywhere make you just a number to milk and send right back out the door. Thank you for reading...
I felt like I was on an assembly line with no method of payment for services, which I have full insurance. After speaking with a few others who attend Lexington Family Practice, they have noticed similar behaviors during treatments.
Dr. West is a wonderful and so professional. I have had some serious health issues and she has her staff on the phone that day to get me it to see a specialist. She is easy to talk with and is always understanding and caring. I love their staff as well!!!

When I returned to the examining room from the lab, the Dr. walked in a few minutes later. He did not ask me what remaining questions I had, he only stated that " If you have other questions you will have to schedule another appointment, we can't just give you a full physical"... This made me very uneasy and pissed off. I stated that I did not like the way I was being treated and a few other words. I also told him the only reason I drove all this way is because I liked him and trusted his opinions.
I was seen rather quickly, not the issue. The issue is that the Dr. was in the examining room less than 10 minutes total evaluating my concerns with health. I started to ask a question while he was on the monitor sending a quick prescription, to which I was not confident was a correct diagnosis at all. As I asked the question, he told me to "old on". Then stood up and said he was sending me to the lab and exited the room. The nurse walked back in and I asked if the Dr. was coming back, she said no. I said well I wasn't finished talking and asking questions. She went to go get the Dr. but she returned only instead stating that he would be back after the Lab work was done.
