What kind of doctor tells anybody that?
They should really take out the "care" part and just call this place simply: "Doctors". Doc was seemingly in some sort of hurry the entire time and was prone to finishing my sentences for me. No real solution except "here's a list of some other doctors". Also, why did I wait over 2 hours after online check in if it said there's 0 people ahead of me? Tisk Tisk, DOCTORS. Oh, and just editing to throw this in here. It's very unbecoming of your doctors to tell their patients (especially patients who received no clear cut solution) to go on the survey and leave a 5 star review. That's unprofessional.
I’m pretty disappointed because up until tonight I’ve had a pretty decent experience with Doctor’s Care.
My biggest complaint about the care received is that even though my fiancees flu test came back negative the doctor told her, “in my clinical opinion you have the flu”, so therefore we asked her to prescribe me the exposure dosage since I would be her caretaker and her response was, “wait till you get the flu and then come back and see us”.
2) Why is it when I check in two hours before, go home because I don’t want to sit in a waiting room for 2 hours, and then come back when it’s my time to be seen the last 2 people on the list get seen? I was even told by the front desk that my time would be 7:50 and at 8:21 I still haven’t been seen.
What is the point of online sign in when they don't follow it?! Text said come now, your appointment is 10:17. Arrived and we were 1st in line. NINETY minutes later (!) and after two patients further down the list were seen first, we were finally put in a room! Only go wait another 30 mins!
Took us in with 3 minutes left to get a flu test which was incredibly kind of them. Receptionist was fantastic. Doctor had horrible bedside manner and lady that triaged us made some comments about Spanish speakers that made my fiancée and I a bit uncomfortable, even though to her defense I don’t think she meant anything malicious or ill willed by them.
Will never go there again. The receptionist was rude and didn't bother looking up. Took my strep test on my cheek instead of my throats so it came back negative. Told me that my ears were fine. Told me to take Tylenol. Don't remember the doctors name, but he was rambunctious and I could hear everything he said about other patients. Still felt bad for a couple days after, so I went to another doctor and they told me that I had 2 ear infections and strep throat. Worst doctors experience ever.
Also doctor told us she was prescribing a numbing agent for her throat and then prescribed cough medicine instead with no numbing agent. While the cough medicine was the correct prescription to write we still have no clue what was was going on about and my fiancée is in medical school herself.
1) Ridiculous that the online check in system doesn’t work.
2 things:
And the girl who was about to swap my daughter's throat kept touching her gloved hand to her face, hair, even wiped her nose with it!! Never re-gloved!!
