Although I have not bought a car yet from Turnage, I keep coming back because the customer service is so good. With a personable and genuine demeanor, I felt at ease from the first time I communicated with them on the phone. Even better in person, they are forthright with each car's characteristics, and I believe that they choose each car on their lot very carefully with the customer in mind.
$300-$2000 to fix depending on what is actually broken, but the mechanic can't say until he removes the tank to see. I've already paid $170 to get part of the gas leak problem fixed which was coming from a valve that broke almost immediately after getting the car. I'll have to get a rental car to get back and forth to work while he does this which is another couple hundred dollars on top of the costly repairs. The A/C sometimes works, but mostly doesn't. This is the only car I have and I have to transport my 3 small children in this gas filled, heat bucket. When I called to talk to Turnage about it the only response I got was "well, that's what you get when you buy an older vehicle." SERIOUSLY!? I'm now putting more into the car than its worth and it's been LESS THAN THREE MONTHS that I've owned it. To trade it in for another car with a car payment that I can't afford, mind you, I'll only get about $300 for it. Needless to say Turnage will never get my business again and I'll be sure to direct others from ever buying from them.
I drove two hours to buy a car here and it was worth it! I had spent four days riding around to see cars at dealerships and private sellers. Aaron was fantastic to work with, he knows his stuff and is not pushy at all. Not only do they have the carfax for each car but they show you the full inspection and all the maintenance they did on the vehicle. They are upfront about everything they know about the condition of the vehicle. I knew exactly what I was getting and had great peace of mind as I drove off the lot.

I'm currently driving a 2001 Honda Civic sold to me at Turnage for $3500 in June 2017. I realize that it's an older high mileage car, but everyone at Turnage assured me that it was put through tests and was a solid car. I was blown away by my experience at Turnage Motors, although my experience with used car dealers is somewhat limited, the experiences I have had have not been great, thus the bar was not set real high. However the level of integrity and professionalism that was exhibited by both Aaron and Roy was phenomenal. As I was browsing Aaron met me and explained the Turnage process-- that each car is inspected and that report is on the dash in each vehicle, as well as the CarFax report for each vehicle. I was shopping for a car for my daughter, I explained this to Aaron and he made some recommendations. On my second visit I returned with my daughter, and both Aaron and Roy greeted her in a very professional manner, this impressed me as not every car dealer is this "female friendly" We test drove the vehicle and found just as Aaron had said that the Saturn we had chosen was very solid. Roy processed our paperwork in a very professional and efficient manner. The level of service the Turnage provides is world class-- we live within 10 miles of Turnage but would be willing to drive 100 miles for this level of professional and integrity. I would highly recommend Turnage Motors to anyone that is looking for a used vehicle.
