I was in jail the weekend the hurricane hit SC a month or two ago and there was a young lady in there as well. It was absolutely freezing. Everyone was shivering. And this young woman was standing in the middle of the room, bleeding down her pants (OBVIOUSLY on her period). I mean her whole back of her pants are stained.
Can't even keep track of their inmates.
No one can explain anything to you. Yet quick to quote procedures. Four hours to release someone is a very very long time. Especially when you see employees constantly eating and playing on their phones. Only courtesy shown is to the attorneys that frequent this place. Very poor example of government employees much less law enforcement. Sad.
The secretary at the front desk was really rude. When my friend scheduled an appointment to get her things from evidence, they gave her another person's belongings. She tried to return them back to evidence, but they refused to take them back. They gave her a phone number to call about her stuff, and let her leave with someone else's personal property....I've never witnessed that much stupidity.
You employees that work there are pieces of crap. You know who you are. For the good ones, if there are any, you need to stand up and make it right. I'm sure nothing will change bc of this review. But God I hope it does, this place needs help.
When you try and look someone up it takes you through all this stuff and you'l still don't know what is going on with your family
NOT ONE employee. Male or female helped her. She begged for underwear. Asked to go to the restroom. Asked for feminine products. When they said they didn't "have" any. She had some in her purse but they still refused to get them for her. Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting to make a human stand there freezing and bleeding, begging for mercy.
This place needs help. The employees are sick. Just because someone is in jail, doesn't mean you treat them like trash.
