We had a great first time visit. Spacious gazebos, lots of swings for all ages and nature walk. My only dislike was the huge spider webs scattered in the nature walk. On our last visit after my previous post a frightened woman ran through the park stating she saw a black snake in the park while walking. The habitat crew said the could not do anything about it. I won't be visiting this park again.
This park is lovely. There's a park, an amazing Amphitheatre plenty of space for children's birthday parties. There was an amazing park for children to use, people everywhere. There's plenty of room for walking for exercise and beautiful nature to see.
The entrance was a little hard to find but its a beautiful park for both kids and adults. Playgrounds and nature work well together. We used it to stretch our legs and get the kids energy out during a long trip and it worked well.
Overall its a very nice park. We try to get there fairly often. It has lots of shade so it stays cooler during the summer but its a little buggy. The walkways could use work as well and the playground has some damage due to the flooding a few years ago
Very nice family park in down town Lexington. The park has a large playground with swings, play sets, picnic tables and gazebos. There are restroom facilities and walking paths as well.
